This is not currently possible, but Sabai plans to add such a shortcode in 1.2.

Is it possible for visitors to the site to submit suggested updates to listings?
This is not currently possible.
Is there a way to show only the map without the listings?
This is not currently possible but is a planned feature. Once implemented you’ll be able to go Directories –> [Your Directory] –> Content Types –> Listing –> Manage Views and use the [drts-directory-view] shortcode generated there.
Is it possible to use Directories Pro on third party Custom Post Types?
This is not currently possible but is planned for a future release.
Is there a way to search the categories/tags when the lists become so large they are unwieldy?
There is no such functionality built into Directory Plus. However, Sabai recommends the Post Category Filter which provides this functionality on the backend (WP-Admin).
Unfortunately, this does not help with the front end user submissions.
Can submitters add a location that does not already exist in the locations taxonomy?
No. The location taxonomy term must already exist, the user cannot add it. Sabai is considering, “We’re considering adding an option to let users enter a city name in a text field. You can then remove the City level from the location hierarchy.”
Is it possible to have the filter widgets appear above the listings instead of below when viewing on mobile?
This is a function of your theme and how it handles the sidebar when it collapses into a mobile view. It is not currently possible, though Sabai intends to enhance this functionality:
“What we plan to do is to hide the filter form widget on mobile devices and instead show the filter form above the main content section of the page, similar to how it works when you toggle the fullscreen mode of the map.”
Is it possible to have changes made to an existing listing by its creator submitted to an admin for approval before posting?
This is not currently possible.
Can I set a default image when a listing is added?
Not currently.
Can one use OpenStreetMap instead of Google Maps?
This is expected in 1.2.
